AGE REQUIREMENTS AND LOCATION TO PURCHASE

Thank you for taking the time to read our Payments Policy for purchasing directly through our Instagram Grid, Feed and Stories. Our items are available to purchase by anyone 18 years of age and older who live in the United States and have a USA bank account and USA shipping address. In the future, this may change to include international addresses, so stay tuned!

DIRECT PURCHASES THROUGH OUR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT

Home and Garden Lane @homeandgardenlane follows the trend of other Instagram Resellers by posting items for sale on our “Grid”, in our “Feed” and in our “Stories”. We are very proud to let you know that we have also been approved by Instagram to set up an Official Instagram Shop! We are very excited about this and we are in the process of setting one up!

ITEMS AVAILABLE AND YOUR CLAIMS

When we post an item for direct sale in our Grid, Feed or Stories, it will be noted at the top as being *AVAILABLE*. If you decide that you would like to purchase the item, please write in the Comment section *CLAIM*. Please then send us a DM (Direct message) @homeandgardenlane and include the item you are claiming, along with  your name, email address (for contact) and mailing address (for shipping calculations).

FOR BACKUP PURCHASERS

If someone has already made a *CLAIM* on the item you want, you can still make a claim as a *BACKUP* purchaser! This is in case, for some reason, that the original claimant cannot fulfill their obligation to purchase. If this is the case, the Congratulations! You will win the item! Please note: Please write *BACKUP* in the Comment section and follow through as noted above. Please note: There is no limit on the number of Backup claim purchasers. Each person will be honored in the order of their Backup claim.

TWO PART INVOICING

Home and Garden Lane sends your invoice in two parts:

1. The first part will be for the item itself. This first payment is due within 24 hours of invoicing.
2. The second part will be for the cost of shipping to your designated address. 

LAYAWAY OPTION FOR ITEMS OVER $400

If you would like to have a Layaway Plan for an item priced $400 or more, I may be able to accommodate you. A non-refundable deposit of 25% will be required. Please send me a DM to discuss..

PAYMENTS

 Currently, we are only able to accept payments in three ways:

1. ZELLE: Payment is made immediately via direct bank to bank transfer via your USA bank’s ZELLE system and directly to ours. This is our preferred method of payment. We encourage you to use this payment method as there are no fees charged for either party. (Please see below for more information About Zelle.)
2. VENMO: Payment is made through their outside system. Items are not shipped until all payments have cleared, which may take several days. In addition, as we are a business account with VENMO (and not a personal account), we do charge an additional +2%  transaction fee per purchase made through Venmo. This is the additional fee that Venmo charges us for each transaction. In addition, if you use VENMO to make your payment with a credit card, VENMO will charge you an additional +3% fee. There is no additional Venmo charge to you if you use your debit card or make a payment directly from your bank account..
3. BANK TO BANK WIRE TRANSFER: This is for High Ticket items priced at $1000 or more. We do not take CC payments for this category.

ABOUT ZELLE 

ZELLE is a United States–based digital payments network run by a private financial services company owned by the banks Bank of America, Truist, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. The Zelle service enables individuals to electronically transfer money from their bank account to another registered user's bank account (within the United States) using a mobile device or the website of a participating banking institution. There is no fee or charge on the transaction. Zelle was launched in 2017 and includes more than 2,000 participating USA banks. There are 120 million consumer and small business owners who use ZELLE for transactions through their financial institution. Most bank customers will find ZELLE right inside their bank’s mobile app. The bottom line is, if you trust the Seller, then paying with Zelle should not be a problem.
